Currently, I'm affiliated to the Intelligent User Interfaces (IUI) group at the German Research Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI GmbH).

I've studied computer science at Saarland University, where I've been awarded a Diploma (M. Sc.), and a Ph.D (magna cum laude).

Just counting recent projects, I've been involved in raising over 17 Mio. € of external funding, resulting in roundabout 5.4 Mio. € for subprojects carried out at DFKI.
